Payments cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 01/03/2025

1. Payment Policy

  • A deposit of 60% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

  • Full payment must be made at least 4 days before the departure date.

  • We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and other approved methods.

  • All payments must be made in the specified currency as per the invoice.

  • Failure to complete payment within the stipulated time may result in the cancellation of the booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email to bookings@exploreafricatoursandtravel.ug.

  • Cancellation fees apply based on the notice period before departure:

    • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus deposit.

    • 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.

    • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.

  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows or unused services.

  • In case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), we will assess rescheduling or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.

3. Changes and Amendments

  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  • Any amendments must be requested in writing at least 4 days before departure.

4. Refund Policy

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 4 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

  • Transaction fees and currency conversion differences may apply.

5. Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage.
