1. Payment Policy
A deposit of 60% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Full payment must be made at least 4 days before the departure date.
We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and other approved methods.
All payments must be made in the specified currency as per the invoice.
Failure to complete payment within the stipulated time may result in the cancellation of the booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing via email to bookings@exploreafricatoursandtravel.ug.
Cancellation fees apply based on the notice period before departure:
More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus deposit.
15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows or unused services.
In case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), we will assess rescheduling or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.
3. Changes and Amendments
Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Any amendments must be requested in writing at least 4 days before departure.
4. Refund Policy
Approved refunds will be processed within 4 business days.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Transaction fees and currency conversion differences may apply.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage.
